Partnership and sexuality counselling
We offer couples and sex counselling for individuals and couples - with or without disabilities. This offer is open to everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, sexual preference or personal relationship.
We support couples during pregnancy and after childbirth or with questions about sexuality.
Childbirth faces a couple with a host of new challenges. This can work out well. Sometimes, however, it means that you spend fewer positive moments together, quarrels are the order of the day and there is less time for intimacy and sexuality. The first step in counselling is to start a conversation.
Overall, parents feel more under pressure after the birth of a child. Different expectations and needs may become apparent. Then couples counselling can be helpful and support you in not losing touch with one another, rediscovering one another and coping with your new family situation.
In couples counselling, you can talk about your new role as parents and a couple as well as voice conflicts and views about life with a child.
Frequently asked questions:
- How much time does each of you have for yourself?
- Who takes care of the child and when?
- Who will do how much of the housework?
- Who decides on questions about finances?
- What say should grandparents have?
- When will you have time for yourself as a couple?
We are here for you. Open, competent and personal.
We offer you free, fast and non-denominational counselling on this topic.
Counselling takes place face to face, by video and over the phone. Where required, we can talk to you in English, French and in simple language.
If you wish, we can also offer you anonymous counselling.
Our counsellors are bound by professional secrecy, i.e. all conversations are strictly confidential.
